The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort And Casino is located on the bustling Palm Beach strip, a tourism hub in Aruba. Just a 20-minute drive from Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA), the Hilton Aruba’s convenient location provides easy access to restaurants, cafes, nightlife, and cultural exploration. Outside of the Palm Beach area, a bus stop directly in front of the hotel makes traveling to Oranjestad and other island attractions easy.
The hotel is situated amongst high-rise hotels directly on the Palm Beach strip. This location was a leading factor in deciding to stay here as it sits across from a string of vibrant restaurants and nightlife spots. Whether it’s a quaint cafe or a trendy eatery, there are many local and international dining options in this area.
If you choose to venture off the Palm Beach strip, there is a bus stop right at the entrance of the hotel. This makes it easy to navigate throughout the island at your own pace to discover Aruba’s vibrant landmarks and natural wonders. A 10-15 minute bus ride will take you to Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital city, which is home to popular stores and a shopping mall in the Renaissance Hotel. There are also many souvenir stands as the cruise ship port is also in the area.
The check-in process at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino was quick and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and provided comprehensive information about the hotel and its services. Checking out was equally simple, with a complimentary one-hour late check-out offered.
The hotel consists of three towers, named after the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao). Our room was in the Aruba tower on the fourth floor, offering a partial ocean view. We booked a room with two queen beds as, at the time of booking, it was the most economical choice. The room was quite spacious with a large closet, coffee/tea station, sofa, table and chairs, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, floor length mirror, bathroom, and a balcony with outdoor seating.
The room’s layout was a bit puzzling to me, in regards to the use of space, especially in the bathroom. I thought the shower area was too small for the square footage and there was a lot of unused space in the room. In addition to daily housekeeping, we were also provided with bottled water in the room.

The hotel grounds are incredibly stunning and offer the perfect island escape. It is adorned with palm trees on the beach and boasts many private seating areas for guests to enjoy some privacy. The beauty of the grounds was a big draw for me to the hotel as well as its proximity to the Palm Beach strip. There is also a small bird garden on the grounds where you can view a variety of tropical birds.

With its prime location, modern facilities, and professional, friendly staff, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino is sure to satisfy any traveler.
One of the biggest standouts for me was the customer service, not just on the grounds but across the island. Aruba relies heavily on tourism for their economy and their motto is One Happy Island, so it’s understandable why the people always seem to be happy and friendly. Most workers would inquire about how our trip was going and invite us back to the island to experience other attractions.
