Unvaccinated travelers to the Bahamas require a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 5 days of arrival. Test results older than 5 days will be refused entry.
All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, must apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa at travel.gov.bs. Processing may take up to 48 hours.
Unvaccinated guests staying longer than 4 nights must take a rapid COVID-19 antigen test on day 5. Guests departing on or before day 5 do not need this test but still require a negative test to re-enter the US and other countries.
All passengers entering the US must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 3 days of departure. Breezes Bahamas now offers on-site testing.
Canadian, European, and Latin American guests, please verify the required test type for re-entry with your airline. Breezes Resort Bahamas does not provide PCR tests but can refer you to nearby labs.
As of December 6, 2021, all air passengers returning to the US, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, must provide documentation of a negative viral test taken within one (1) day of their flight’s departure to the US.
